Hey everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to address a connection issue that some of you might be facing with the Plugin Repository. It can be frustrating when things don’t work smoothly, but I’m here to help guide you through a workaround that should get you back on track.

If You’re Using IPv6

First off, if your server is running on IPv6, there’s a simple fix you can try. Whitelisting our repository’s IPv6 address can help establish the connection. Here’s the address you need to add:

repo-prod-ams3.jetlicense.com - 2a03:b0c0:2:d0::16a1:7001

For IPv4 Users

Now, if you’re working with IPv4, you can force your server to connect using IPv4 by modifying the /etc/hosts file. Just add this line:

64.225.76.83 repo.jetlicense.com

Reinstalling the SSH (Legacy) Plugin

Once you’ve made these changes, go ahead and reinstall the SSH (Legacy) plugin. You can find it by going to Plugins >> Available Plugins >> SSH (Legacy) >> Reinstall.

After that, make sure to restart the JetBackup service to apply all your changes. You can do this by running the following command:

service jetbackup5d restart
